Overall responsibility of a team of accountants covering our entities and ensuring compliance with IFRS and local accounting standards.
What will you do:
Ensure accuracy and quality of financial accounting data, including review of accruals for costs and revenue
Take ownership and accountability of the month, quarter and year-end closings and local statutory reporting
Provide background and explanations of variances to budged and previous month for key B/S and P/L accounts.
Primary point of contact for internal and external audits
Manage, motivate and lead a team of accountants to provide excellent service to key internal and external stakeholders
Ensure applicable controls are performed and reviewed according to company policies
Ensuring queries related to Receivables, Payables, T&E and Fixed Assets are handled and resolved in a timely manner
Communicate with treasury and other 3rd parties to ensure cash availability and optimization of funds
Communicate and liaise with 3rd party tax and statutory consultants to ensure local compliance
Have a university degree in finance or accounting
Working experience 5-8 years in accounting, SSC preferred
Experience with Team Management
Fluent both verbal and written English required
Advanced PC skills (MS Office, mainstream ERP solution)
Be structured, with attention to detail, able to motivate and lead
Have strong communication skills
