What is your role?
My role is to involve customers in the process of designing our products and services. This is the only bullet-proof way to make sure our products are appealing, intuitive and easy to use for them. We spend lots of time with customers in order to understand their digital lives and needs to get inspiration for the creation of new products. Throughout the whole design process, we validate our designs with customers to make sure we’re doing the right thing for them.
What is the best thing about working here?
The people! I like the people here, both as friends and professionals. There are plenty of talented people at AVG collaborating on shared goals. It’s extremely motivating to be part of it.
What would you say to someone thinking of joining us?
AVG is a great place to be. You have a chance to join a successful, growing and stable company. I like the way AVG cares about the satisfaction and professional development of its employees. One more thing: if you are not a team player and if the customer is not in the center of your thinking, AVG is probably not the right choice for you.
What makes your work interesting?
Meeting customers from diverse cultures, especially when surveying them directly at their homes; supplying our designers and product managers with inspiration coming from insights into customers’ lives; and being part of the creative process when new products and designs are arising.
